State of the Union Bingo!

Hello Loyal Readers,

Tomorrow, at 6 p.m. PST, the president will speak to the nation about the state of the union. Some years, the president uses this speech to lay the groundwork for his reelection campaign, or to shore up support after suffering some legislative defeats, or even to respond to critics. Basically, it is one of the few chances for the president to speak directly to a significant slice of the population.

So naturally, I have trivialized it by creating a bingo sheet.

I wrote all the boxes and hope they make sense to you. If you want to join me in watching the speech, I will be joining the local Democracy for America group at Round Table Pizza on Sunset. I’ll bring some sheets already printed out.

Tomorrow, I will write up a full post summarizing the speech and noting any potential local impacts.
